DEATHS OF SHAKESPEARE
Bryant Park teams up with The Drilling Company (who produces Shakespeare in the Parking Lot each summer) to honor the Bard’s 452nd birthday and the 400th anniversary of his death. Starting at 6:30pm in Bryant Park, members of the company will be performing some of the greatest death scenes from Shakespeare’s canon as well as leading the audience in a mock jazz funeral for the great playwright.

Celebrate The Purple One at Littlefield in Brooklyn this Saturday night where DJ Steve Reynolds, of monthly party Party Like It’s 1999, will be playing nothing but Prince all night long. His hits, B-sides, songs he wrote for other artists and everything else from his prolific career will be played as well as projections from his films, live performances, and music videos.
