Friday has arrived, and with no blizzard in sight for this weekend here are a few of the cool things going on around town that you won’t want to miss!

BEER, BOURBON & BBQ FESTIVAL
Southerners and Southerners at heart will have plenty to enjoy at the seventh annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival in Chelsea. Featuring 60 beers, 40 bourbons, and some of New York’s best BBQ, you can choose to attend The Bacon Bash Tasting Session, The Whole Hog Pig Pickin’ Session, or The Grand Poobah MEAT-A-RAMA Session. Admission includes a tasting glass to enjoy all-you-can-drink tastings. Come hungry!

KING CHARLES III

ALL THAT JACK (COLE)
Choreographer Jack Cole impacted the world of 20th-century dance in an enduring way, influencing numerous famous choreographers and playing a pivotal role in the creation of “theatrical jazz.” This series at MoMa will feature screenings of unforgettable films he worked on, including “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” and “Les Girls,” accompanied by lectures and conversations about the lasting impact of this great choreographer.

VALRHONA HOT CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL
One of the world’s greatest producers of fine gourmet chocolate, Valrhona hosts this festival of all things hot chocolate at a number of bakeries and beverage professionals throughout New York City including Dominique Ansel Bakery, La Maison du Chocolat, Brooklyn Roasting Company, and Dough. Each participant will be creating exclusive delicious hot chocolate recipes for the festival and 50 cents from each cup sold will be donated to City Harvest.
