WORLD SCIENCE FESTIVAL
The city belongs to all those lovers of science this weekend, as the World Science Festival returns to NYC with 50 events at over 20 venues spread throughout the boroughs. Broaden your mind and dazzle at the festival that “takes science out of the laboratory and into the streets” with discussions, theatre, interactive experiences, live music and more!

TAVERN ON THE GREEN BEER GARDEN
The iconic Tavern on the Green, always a check on the NYC to-do list, recently re-opened their summer Beer Garden. Grab a seat at a picnic table, order a brew and take in the surrounding beauty of Central Park!
The beloved Summerstage series returns to Rumsey Playfield in Central Park with a hot line-up that’s as eclectic and diverse as ever, featuring everything from opera and circus to hip-hop and film in a concert setting that is more often than not completely free! The whole shebang kicks off on Saturday with a fabulous and FREE jazz concert from the McCoy Tyner Quartet, Ron Carter, Wallace Roney, and Roy Haynes.
ROSE GARDEN WEEKEND
Tour the gorgeous Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden in its peak season during this celebratory weekend of plant care demonstrations, live music, and food and drink.
Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson returns to Broadway in this hilarious solo show about the cutthroat NYC restaurant scene. Playing 40 different characters including frantic waiters, diva celebrity diners, and a fame-hungry chef it’s a whirlwind evening that will have you rolling in the aisles in laughter!
