Your New York City Weekend MARCH 4 – 6

While we’re hopeful that the snow this morning was winter’s last hoorah, even with low temps you can make this weekend an awesome one! Get out and celebrate the beginning of March (and spring!) with these great events.

Drunk Restoration Comedy
The folks at Random Access Theatre are bringing their hilarious Drunk Restoration Comedy to the Player’s Theatre Loft for a six month run, beginning this Friday with Oliver Goldsmith’s She Stoops to Conquer. The premise is simple: a cast of actors get very drunk, perform old-school restoration comedy and as if that’s not enough, they invite the audience to participate in the debauchery, choosing which actor gets more and more sloshed as the night wears on. Tickets are only $10 and include a complimentary drink!

Wine Riot
Wine Riot is an all new “wine-tasting” event, bringing together 250 wines from all over the world for a weekend of tastings and interactive lessons. With an incredible team of professionals to teach you the ropes alongside a DJ, photo booth, and temporary tattoos, it’s a wild evening for those sophisticated wine drinkers out there! The good people of Wine Riot have also devised a very nifty app that lets you track your favorite wines and find out where to buy them later on, so you can impress all of your friends at the next dinner party!
